Witches' Brew Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vodka
  • 1 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz rock candy syrup
  • 1 oz blue curaçao
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • Dry ice (optional, but highly recommended for a spooky effect)
  • Colorful sugar (for rimming)
  • Garnish: black licorice or gummy worms

 

Instructions

Prepare your glasses. Pour a small amount of rock candy syrup onto a plate. On another plate, pour your colorful sugar. Dip the rim of each glass first into the syrup, then into the sugar to create a festive, sugared rim.

Combine ingredients. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the vodka, pineapple juice, rock candy syrup, blue curaçao, and lime juice. 

Close the shaker and shake vigorously until the outside is frosty. 

Strain and serve. Strain the mixture into your prepared glass over fresh ice.

Add a spooky garnish. For a foggy effect, use tongs to drop a small chip of dry ice into the drink. Be sure to instruct guests to wait until the dry ice has completely dissolved before sipping.
